Women In Trades Alliance (WITA)

Together, we learn. Together, we rise.

Women in Trades Alliance

WITA was built for the women who show up in hard hats, tool belts, and steel-toed boots and still have to work twice as hard to be seen. We're changing that.

Founded by Sandra Daffer of Hawaiian Built Roofing, WITA exists to connect women in the trades with the community, education, and resources that many of us didn't even know were available. Because when women in the trades lift each other up, everyone builds better.

You Belong Here

Women in Trades Alliance is a networking group dedicated to helping elevate women in trades.

Whether you're just starting out or running your own crew, WITA is your corner of the industry.

We share referrals, tools, training opportunities, and the kind of straight talk that only comes from women who've been on the job.

This is a place to ask questions, find answers, and meet the women who've already figured out what you're working through.

What We Offer

  • Community

WITA brings together women across every corner of the trades, from roofing and electrical to plumbing, construction, and the businesses that champion them. Real women, real connections, real support.

  • Education

Everything you need to level up, from workshops and industry insights to tools and training that help you sharpen your skills and grow your business with confidence.

  • Referrals

Our members don't just network, they show up for each other. Share leads, find trusted vendors, and tap into opportunities that only come from being part of the right community.

  • Events

From workshops and training sessions to meetups and celebrations, our events are where the WITA community comes alive. Wonnect, learn, and grow alongside women who get it.

Ready to Connect?

Membership is open to all women working in skilled trades, contractors, electricians, plumbers, roofers, builders, and everyone in between. Come as you are. Stay because it's worth it.
